About the event
Following on the Rhythms, Colours, Flavours of Peru editions, this year we are having the first Rhythms, Colours, Flavours of Latin America Festival, to expand on and showcase its live music, dance, fine food and culture in New South Wales.
Gumaroy Newman will open proceedings with a welcome to country and First Nation’s performance showcasing traditional rhythms.
To celebrate the diversity in Cultural Traditions of Latin American countries, there will be a unique appearance by local Argentinian and Uruguayan Senior Folk dancers, "Los Sureños" followed by "Brisas del Peru" and "Mexidahlia Folkloric Dance", showcasing their colourful and energetic dances throughout the day and a special dance and music show by Danny Telas Canta, from Colombia.
Salsa and Bachata lovers will be delighted that Pedro and Eugenie, the dynamic duo of dance from Salsamania will bring their Latin Rhythms show to Marrickville. To close a great day, we are very proud to…
